I hope this gets noticed. My car club is going to rent the track again this year 2009. I know its way early for some of you guys to say that you want to do this. Thats ok but we would like to get a feel for what month would be good. The reason is that Bob has alot planed for the summer and we have to give him a idea of what month so he can pick the Sunday. He wants to know in march.
Also he did not know how much for the day.It cost us 600 bucks last time. Thats up to 10 cars any over 10 its still 60 bucks a car for 6 hours. You get all the runs you will ever need. Bob preps one side of the track really well for the fast cars and we make sure that no leakers get on that side.
Now if you want to get in on the rental we require that you pay up before the rental day. That way we are sure that we are going to get enough people there to pay the first 600. If for some reason it rains I will be on top of it a cancel early enough so no one has a long trip for nothing. Bob will give us a rain date.If we still want to do it fine if not everyone gets their money back.
My car club will furnish hots and hamburgers . If you could bring chips or dish to pass.
You can get ahold of me thru here or slippery44@hotmail.com

Have any ideas post them.

I would come up and test. Track rental days are always fun. Maybe June or July would be good. Weather seems to be the best then.

We have a riot. Some guys make 30 runs. June and July are good months just we loose some guys to graduation partys and then 4TH of July. We find April to soon no one ready. We had a Pro Stock car at one of our rentals. The guy was in the area and wanted to test.Bob called us and wanted to know if we would mind if he was there.Of course we said it was ok.Nice guy and fast car. We tell Bob if he wants to double book its ok.We see some fast cars up close.

Sounds great!!! But with this group getting together how about getting a price to have both lanes prepped?? Manley can do a gear change and we can all play on the "big" track!!! Smile

I'm sure Bob would turn the clocks off for a few runs.

The track is preaty much ours. If you want the timeing towers off I see no problem. I will ask . We will talk to Bob in early March.Right now he has to get the insurance up and running and find the cost. He dose inspect the cars and you need all the safty and certs for the cars.
